One of Wales’ newest male voice choirs, Cardiff based, “Côr Meibion Taf” was only formed back in April of 2004 and has already proved itself to be amongst the best male choirs from the ‘Land of Song’. Since its inception the choir has experienced a number of notable successes in competitions, including first prize at the National Eisteddfod of Wales held at Cardiff in 2008. In August 2010 they were delighted to take first prize in the overall choir competition in the National Eisteddfod at Ebbw Vale. The choir has often performed on television, has an ever busy concert schedule performing throughout Wales and beyond and remains in constant demand. As well as being highly sought after as corporate entertainment at business functions, Cȏr Meibion Taf has, on a number of occasions, performed in front of 70,000 rugby fans at the Millennium Stadium, before international matches. On 23 October 2010, the choir was thrilled to perform at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the London Welsh festival of choirs. On 23 October 2011, the first anniversary of that momentous occasion, the choir performed Torrevieja an Viva TV were there to capture the event for posterity.
