San Javier Jazz Festival
If you haven't visited the San Javier Jazz Festival yet, why not? This weekend is your last chance this year!!!It's the 13th edition of the San Javier Jazz Festival this year (2010), which began in 1998 and was born as a result of the efforts of Alberto Nieto and a group of jazz fans with the aid of the San Javier Town Hall through its Cultural Department. This festival has matured into one of the most important cultural events of the Murcia Region, with a great national and international resonance.
Don't be put off if you don't consider yourself a Jazz fan, this event is well worth a visit. Staff and friends of Viva TV have been going along to see several fantastic artists perform this year and they have all been wonderful. But last weekend we went to see the man himself. Mr George Benson performed to a sold out auditorium and what a performance it was! This man is simply wonderful, but don't take our word for it. Viva TV were given permission to film a short clip to show you how great he is and here it is:
The Town Hall go to great lengths to bring over some awesome musicians to this wonderful venue for us to enjoy. So make sure you take advantage of this great opportunity to see some really talented performances.
